Some drinks coaster I made from offcuts of horse chestnut. It’s not a wood I’ve worked with before, a beautiful find from @roughhewnuk (now @britanniatimber ) the grain was so visually interesting. It was very eaten away by the fungus too

I’d been exploring new compositions with this artwork, my first movement away from walnut. For me, art is an ongoing dialogue—between concept and execution, between artist and viewer. Would love to hear what you see or feel when you lo
