An innovative visual artist inspired by the beauty and precision of woodwork, I transform homes into distinct, imaginative spaces filled with elegance and visual energy. Specialising in wooden artwork, I challenge traditional concepts of joinery by showcasing timber as an art form—intriguing and visually captivating. Pioneering a disruptive art genre that places wood at the forefront, I want to redefine how people perceive wood by illustrating its diverse aesthetic qualities. Through meticulous craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a focus on accurate joinery, I serve art lovers and those who appreciate the beauty of timber.
Artist. Woodworker. Maker.
My collection of wallhangings, made with end grain, from various timbers.
Viewers of these pieces have described the patterns as similar to rorschash drawings ( these are the drawings used in psychology practice to test patients on what they see in ambiguous images). They have also been likened to cave paintings which, I think, is why they’re so pleasing to look at. There’s something primal about this fungus infused timber.

“I bought one of Charlie’s beautiful wallhangings as a Christmas gift for my wife. We saw it at a local exhibition and we’ve both been thrilled to have it as an addition to our home.”
